Netted Hoop Pendant

A Free Tutorial for Weaving & Beading Wire Work

Greetings FireFeathers!

Following a long (and wild) start to the year, I am picking back up with compiling tutorials to share with you all.

As sometimes happens with creative types, the inspiration and motivation that drives an artist like me hit a major snag in early 2022. Rekindling the coals on this wire-wrapping journey was not easy, and is still occasionally a stumbling smolder as I move into this unusually slow holiday season. While I continue to revisit (and reassess) what drives my idea mechanism, I’m dipping back into the tutorial writing venture and hope to see a new incipient rush of innovation. Feathers crossed!!

My newest contribution to Wirejewelry.com is a simple yet robust Netted Hoop Pendant tutorial inspired by a recent jaunt out to the last-arriving fall of the Pacific Northwest’s forests in early October. On that wander, I found an incredible Dyer’s Mushroom (phaeolus schweinitzii) that inspired a color study and the color theme of this easy pendant.

You can buy this pendant here!

Head on over and have a look-see! As always, I welcome your feedback.

Enjoy! And thank you ever so for your ongoing support.
